Exotically spiced, this has an inviting nose of prunes and cedary goodness. The palate has a drizzle of chocolate, lush fruit and remarkably supple tannins. A right seductress indeed.

Rich and complex, this wine shows a good balance between ripe dark fruit, warm dry spice and vanillin oak. Fine grained and rich on the palate, the lingering finish is spicy and warming.
Plum, berries, spice and a touch of leather on the nose, this is all about bright, ripe fruit, though there's a slight earthiness to the spice on the palate. Firm tannins and a touch of vanilla round out the picture.
Lovely floral notes on the nose mingle with vibrant cherry, and with the lovely velvety texture, food-friendly acidity and drying finish, this is a must for lazy summer barbecues. A great little quaffer! Some air-time unleashes lifted aromas of blackcurrant, ripe berries, subtle spice and a hint of violets. Lots of blackcurrant and ripe berries on the palate, with some earthiness to balance it out.
Plenty of plum fruit on the nose with some attractive floral notes. Nicely rounded palate showing good fruit and structure. Simple, but simply delicious!

Made in a clean, modern style from old vines, this wine nonetheless has a pleasant dusty road character to the nose adding complexity to the bright fruit and pepper. The palate is dry with fine-grained pepper, cajun spices, a hint of smoke and a little burst of fruit that reappears on the finish.
An easy going Spanish favourite of ours - Armantes Old Bush Vine Ganacha 2006 from the Calatayud Region in Spain. On the nose it is bouncing with red fruits, herbs and spices with that classic touch of hot dusty road we often find in Spanish reds. Full on the palate especially with stewed red and black fruits, cloves, leather, sweet aromatic spices and just a touch of cracked black pepper. This Armantes has a long finish with lingering coffee grain notes and dehydrated raspberries. Perfect to enjoy over a couple days in a comfy chair and a toasty warm room.
Complex nose showing a medley of blackberries, blueberries and boysenberries along with vanilla, fruitcake, coconut and cinnamon with an undercurrent of beefstock. More savoury in the mouth, with cooked and fresh fruit, cocoa, earthy notes and some dusty tannins giving grip to the silky texture.
